Even sunny south-facing gardens will have a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gardenersworld.com\/plants\/types-of-garden-shade\/\">north-facing boundary<\/a> at the back of the garden, but walls and fences in a shadier areas are easily covered if you know what to plant. North and east-facing boundaries can be transformed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gardenersworld.com\/how-to\/grow-plants\/how-to-plant-climbers\/\">planting<\/a> a surprising variety of attractive climbers. Not only is it a fast grower, but it&#8217;s good for wildlife, too, providing shelter for a variety of species, leaves for caterpillars of the holly blue butterfly, nectar-rich flowers for bees nd berries for birds.
